Food Grade Silicone Sealant is a fast curing, flexible, and waterproof sealant specially designed for use in the food service industry. It has been formulated to bond a variety of materials such as steel, glass, aluminum, ceramics, marble, porcelain, plastics, PVC, and most woods.

This one-part, moisture-curing RTV silicone cures to a strong, durable rubber that maintains flexibility over time. Its non-slump formula allows it to be applied to vertical or overhead surfaces without flowing or sagging, making it ideal for a variety of applications.

Thanks to its silicone composition, Food Grade Silicone Sealant offers excellent resistance to weathering, including ozone, UV radiation, freeze-thaw conditions, and airborne chemicals. It can be applied to surface temperatures ranging from -18°C to +50°C (0°F to +120°F) and can withstand constant operating temperatures from -70 to +400 degrees F after curing.

This sealant is specifically developed for food service installations, walk-in refrigerators, and showcases. It is clear in color and comes in a 10.2 fl oz cartridge. ASI 502 Food Grade Silicone Sealant is FDA approved for use where there might be incidental food contact, meeting regulations set by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA Regulation number 21CFR177.2600).
